* Lobodontus compressus (Murray, 1857) Distribution: CAM, DOC, GBI, NRE, RCI. Distribution in Guinea-Bissau (Administrative Regions): 2) CAC. Historic records: none. Material examined: Banhinda (P.N. T. Cacheu) (12º 12´16.67´´ N, 16º 02´56.45´´ W, 25 m alt.) (CAC), 26. VI.2009, 2 males, LT, A. Serrano leg., ASC. Remarks: The species has a scattered distribution throughout western and central Africa (Lorenz 2021). The adult specimens were captured by LT within open secondary forest at the beginning of the wet season (Table 1). It is a new species record for Guinea-Bissau.
