The species is distributed throughout western Africa (Facchini 2011; Lorenz 2021). It was previously reported for Guinea-Bissau as Arsinoe sp. by Serrano (2009a). The adult specimens, all females from different localities of Guinea-Bissau, match very well the description of this species (see Facchini 2011). The specimens were captured by LT within semi-humid forests (QUN localities) and open secondary forests (Coli and Banhinda) at the beginning of the wet season (Table 1). It is a new species record for Guinea-Bissau.
