
Arsinoe laevigata Basilewsky, 1970 Distribution: DOC, GBI, GUI, RCA, RCI. Distribution in Guinea-Bissau (Administrative Regions): 1) TOB; 2) QUN. Historic records: Coli (Quebo) (TOB) (Serrano 2009a). Material examined: Indjassen (P.N. Lagoas da Cufada) (11º 41´35.62´´ N, 15º 00´03.62´´ W, 23 m alt.) (QUN), 16.VII.2009, 1 female, LT, A. Serrano leg., ASC. Remarks. The species has a scattered known distribution throughout western and central Africa (Basilewsky 1970a; Serrano 2009a; Lorenz 2021). It was recorded for the first time for Guinea-Bissau by Serrano (2009a). The adult specimen was captured by LT within a semi-humid forest at the beginning of the wet season (Table 1). It is a new species record for the QUN Administrative Region, Guinea-Bissau.
