With the development of the state and society part of the functions of the state in managing the national economy are transferred to the regions. This is due to the fact that regions are better able to coordinate state and local interests, as well as private and public structures. Accordingly, the means of strategic planning of socio-economic development of regions are changing, especially in the conditions of martial law. This is especially relevant in the current state of functioning of Ukraine, as it is important to find effective means of stimulating regional policy to improve the quality of socio-economic relations in the region. Social transformations taking place in Ukraine in recent years have led to an increase in the role and importance of the region in building a strong state.
