The current study is conducted to examine the following research questions: How are the enjoyment of and connection to the coastal environment associated with the perceived health outcomes during the previous year’s coastal visits? How are the perceived health outcomes during the previous year’s coastal visits associated with visitors’ mental health and perceived general health? Do the perceived health outcomes during the previous year’s coastal visits mediate the relationships between the enjoyment of and connection to the coastal environment and the visitors’ mental health and perceived general health?
