Abstract

Hoewel erfgoedorganisaties al op veel gebieden aan duurzaamheid werken, krijgt de milieu-impact van IT vaak minder aandacht. Digitale collecties, dataopslag en het gebruik van websites en sociale media vergen veel energie en dragen flink bij aan de CO2-voetafdruk van de sector. De gids 'Groen doen met digitale data', samengesteld door de netwerkgroep Green IT vanuit het Netwerk Digitaal Erfgoed, biedt erfgoedorganisaties lees-, kijk- en doetips om hun steentje bij te dragen. Zo werken ze mee aan een toekomst met minder CO2-uitstoot en een schoner milieu.
