Abstract

(DPMJET-II.55, NEXUS-397, QGSJET01C, QGSJET-II-3, SIBYLL-2.1, VENUS4.12/5,FLUKA2005.6, GHEISHA_2002d, URQMD_1.3cors, HERWIG6.510) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ First release using modern GNU like environment. Large improvements have been made in CURVED+UPWARD options to make them much more reliable and stable compared to last CMZ based orginal version (version 6.204 released in 2004). 

The CORSIKA Monte Carlo code for the simulation of particle cascades has been used for more than 30 years by many different groups in the field of astroparticle physics. In particular, it is being used in the context of cosmic-ray physics, gamma-ray astronomy, and high-energy neutrino detection.
