Abstract

Penentuan kadar flavonoid total pada tumbuhan jamblang menjadi penting karena flavonoid memiliki peran biologis yang beragam dan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada sifat-sifat farmakologis tanaman tersebut. Secara umum, flavonoid dapat membantu melindungi tanaman dari stres oksidatif, mengikat radikal bebas, dan berpotensi memberikan efek positif pada kesehatan manusia. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif (studi pustaka), yang dimana data didapatkan dari hasil penelitian dari berbagai macam pustaka seperti, jurnal, buku, dan artikel lainnya yang dianalisis dan dirangkum kedalam paparan hasil. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa jamblang memiliki potensi flavonoid yang dapat memberikan manfaat kesehatan, terutama melalui aktivitas antioksidan dan antiinflamasi flavonoid tersebut. Pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai kadar flavonoid total dalam berbagai bagian tanaman jamblang menjadi dasar penting untuk mengungkapkan potensi kesehatan dan aplikasi farmasi dari tanaman ini.
