The Vulcan-power version 1.1 dataset is a quantification of CO2 emissions for every powerplant in the United States spanning the 2010-2022 time period. Emissions of CO2 are specific to facility and fuel type. The dataset uses raw data from US Federal agencies, further adjudicating, calculating, and geocorrecting the data into a single harmonized dataset. The difference between this and version 1.0 is the addition of the year 2022 which comes with some updates to data in previous years.
