Induction motor speed control plays a significant inindustrial applications. The introduction oftechnologies, likeVFDsand PLCs has greatlyenhanced the performance of industrial processes. However, as technology continues to advance, industries face the challenge of efficiently monitoringand controlling induction motors without incurringsignificant costs to upgrade their existing systems. This paper focuses on addressing this challenge byproposing a cost-effective solution for real-timemonitoring and control of induction motors. Theproposed approach utilizes a wireless module(ZigBee) to establish a connection between a remoteSCADA system and the induction motor. This allowsfor convenient monitoring of motor performance evenwhile on the move, using mobile phones.Furthermore, the solution can be easily implementedin industries of any scale and with any type of PLC,as PLCs offer advantages over peripheral interfacecontrollers (PICs) due to their fewer limitations
