Localizzazione del mitologico popolo delle donne guerriere Amazzoni ad Atlantide e nel Caucaso

Abstract

Questo studio interdisciplinare esamina la possibilità che il popolo mitologico delle Amazzoni abbia avuto le sue origini nella leggendaria Atlantide, identificata con il blocco sardo-corso, come descritto nei dialoghi di Platone. Successivamente, il mito delle Amazzoni potrebbe essersi trasferito nel Caucaso, una regione tradizionalmente considerata la loro patria dalle fonti storiche antiche. Attraverso un'analisi delle fonti classiche, mitologiche e archeologiche, il paper esplora la teoria secondo cui le Amazzoni potrebbero rappresentare una civiltà guerriera con radici in Atlantide, che si sarebbe diffusa o migrata nel Caucaso dopo la caduta della loro civiltà originaria. In particolare, si propone che il gruppo di Amazzoni prigioniere, fuggite dai loro rapitori, possa essere migrato nel Caucaso, decidendo di stabilirsi e fondare una nuova colonia. Questo spostamento avrebbe portato all'esportazione nel Caucaso della lingua, delle tradizioni e della cultura atlantidea, oggi identificata come "sarda".
