Abstract

Ushbu maqola tarjimashunoslik fani, ushbu fanning paydo bo'lishi haqida qisman so'z yuritib, o'zbek adabiyoti va ilm-faniga kirib kelish jarayoni, uning rivojiga hissa qo'shgan o'zbek olimlari haqida ma'lumot beradi. shuningdek, maqolada tarjimashunoslik fanidagi yutuq va kamchiliklar, asarning badiiy, ilmiy va sisosiylik jihatiga e'tibor berishning muhimligi, tarjima qilib bo'lmaydigan so'zlar yoki jumlalar haqida batafsil so'z yuritiladi va namuna sifatida Maxmud Qoshg'ariyning "Devonu lug'otit turk" asaridan parcha keltirilib, uning inglizcha tarjimasidagi kamchilik dalillar asosida ko'rsatiladi. muallif o'z ilmiy izlanishlariga ko'ra to'g'ri deb hisoblagan tarjima variantini taqdim etadi.
