As water scarcity becomes a pressing global concern, innovative solutions for sustainable water management are essential. This research paper delves into the potential of home-installed reverse osmosis (RO) wastewater recycling systems for enhancing household water sustainability. We explore the technology, applications, benefits, and challenges associated with these systems, analyzing their ability to reduce freshwater consumption, minimize wastewater discharge, and contribute to environmental and economic sustainability. Through a critical review of relevant academic literature and real-world examples, we aim to shed light on the viability and potential impact of home-based RO wastewater recycling in advancing a more water-conscious future.
