CONCENTRADO PROTEICO DE LEITE HUMANO ULTRAFILTRADO E LIOFILIZADO PARA A ALIMENTAÇÃO DE RECÉM-NASCIDOS DE MUITO BAIXO PESO

Abstract

RESUMO O trabalho teve como objetivo desenvolver um concentrado proteico, ultrafiltrado e liofilizado a partir de leite humano (LH) para a alimentação de recém-nascidos de muito baixo peso. Foi realizado um estudo experimental com 5 amostras de leite humano cru de um banco de leite. Amostras de 25 mL de leite humano previamente desnatado foram ultrafiltradas a uma temperatura de 6 °C e uma pressão de 5 bar. Para remoção desejada da lactose (> 80%) foram necessárias 4 etapas de diafiltração. Após a reconstituição do concentrado proteico ultrafiltrado e liofilizado no LH, houve um aumento proteico de 1,06 ± 0,34 para 2,04 ± 0,43 g/dL (p˂0,0001), com uma osmolalidade final de 360 mOsm/Kg. O concentrado produzido neste estudo mostra ser um suporte proteico seguro e viável, pois apresenta uma osmolalidade próxima à fisiológica e atende às necessidades proteicas na dieta enteral recomendada aos recém- nascidos de muito baixo peso.
