O IMPACTO DA PANDEMIA AOS ENFERMEIROS DO SETOR DE URGÊNCIA E EMERGÊNCIA

Abstract

A pandemia causada pelo virus covid-19 tem afetado negativamente a saúde mental dos enfermeiros que auxiliam na linha de frente, pois lidam diaremente com a incerteza, sobrecarga de trabalho e o medo da doença que apresentava semelhança com os relatos das pandemias anteriores. O objetivo desse estudo é refletir sobre os desafios enfretados pelos profissionais de enfermagem de acordo com a literatura. O método utilizado nesse estudo foi a busca de artigos baseado na realidade que os profissionais de enfermagem enfrenta durante a pandemia. Um estudo realizado durante 2020, ano que foi decretada a pandemia mostrou que cerca de 10 mil profissionais de enfermagem estavam com suspeita ou foram confirmados com a doença. Deste total , 72 profissionais vieram a óbito, sendo 54% dos óbitos ocorreram no Sudeste, 21% no Nordeste, 12% na região Norte, 7% na Região sul e 6% no Centro-Oeste. Outro estudo demostram que dentre os desafios enfretados pelos enfermeiros no setor de urgência e emergência, está o desgaste emocional e falta de apoio psicologico, sendo que 38% sobrecarga de trabalho, 30% desgaste emocional, 20% falta de EPI, 12% cansaço extremo.
