Presentation given at the 39th meeting of the European Economic Association and the 76th European meeting of the Econometric Society, from August 26-30, on the ERASMUS University campus, in Rotterdam, Netherlands. This presentation dicusses the major replication challenges met Economics and Econometrics and the potential remedies put in place by the research community, as well as new issues related to big data and machine learning.
