Entrenamiento funcional para mejorar la velocidad en los Árbitros Profesionales de Manabí

Abstract

Este estudio evaluó la efectividad del entrenamiento funcional en la mejora de la velocidad de los árbitros profesionales de fútbol en la provincia de Manabí, Ecuador. Se utilizó un diseño experimental con 30 árbitros, divididos en un grupo experimental y un grupo control. El grupo experimental realizó un programa de entrenamiento funcional durante 8 semanas, mientras que el grupo control siguió su entrenamiento habitual. Se evaluó la velocidad de ambos grupos mediante sprints de 30 metros antes y después de la intervención. Los resultados mostraron que el grupo experimental mejoró significativamente su velocidad, con una reducción promedio de 0.5 segundos en sus tiempos de sprint, lo que representó un incremento del rendimiento de entre 9.26% y 10%. En contraste, el grupo control experimentó un deterioro en su rendimiento de velocidad. La prueba t para muestras independientes reveló una diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre los grupos, con una diferencia media de 0.71 segundos (p < 0.001). El estudio concluye que el entrenamiento funcional es una intervención efectiva para mejorar la velocidad de los árbitros, contribuyendo a su rendimiento físico y, por ende, a la precisión en la toma de decisiones durante los partidos. Además, su versatilidad lo convierte en una herramienta prometedora para el desarrollo físico de los árbitros en diversos contextos geográficos y niveles de competencia.
