
Abstract: Climate change, characterized by global temperature alterations, has profound socio-economic and legal ramifications worldwide. This case study focuses on understanding these changes with a special emphasis on their impact in India. It examines the causes and consequences of rising temperatures, the social and legal responses to these changes, and the policies implemented to mitigate adverse effects. Through comprehensive analysis, the study aims to highlight the critical need for adaptive and mitigative strategies to address climate change and its far-reaching implications.
