Abstract

ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଗଳ୍ପ ଜଗତର ମୂର୍ଦ୍ଧନ୍ୟ ରୂପକାର କାଳିନ୍ଦୀଚରଣ ପାଣିଗ୍ରାହୀ ମାଟି ଓ ମଣିଷର କଥାକାର । ମଣିଷ ଭିତରେ ଅନାବିଳ ଆପଣାପଣ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହେଲେ ସେ ଦେବତାସ୍ତରକୁ ଉତ୍ତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇପାରିବ ବୋଲି ତାଙ୍କ କଥା ସାହିତ୍ୟ ପାଠକଙ୍କୁ ଭରସାଦିଏ । ତାଙ୍କ ଗପଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ସାଧାରଣ ମଣିଷକୁ ନାୟକତ୍ତ୍ୱ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବାପାଇଁ ଥାଏ ଏକପ୍ରକାର ଉଦ୍ଘୋଷଣା । ମୁଖ୍ୟତଃ ଗ୍ରାମ୍ୟ ଚରିତ୍ର ଆଧାରିତ ତାଙ୍କ ଗଳ୍ପ ସମୂହ ଯେଉଁ ମାନବୀୟ ସଂବେଦନର ସ୍ୱାକ୍ଷର ଲେଖେ, ତାହା ଅବଶ୍ୟ ଆଦର୍ଶ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ।
