This species was described based on syntypes male and female (quantity of specimens not given) from Brazil. Currently, it is known from Brazil (Goiás, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul), Paraguay, Argentina (Misiones, Entre Ríos), and Uruguay (Monné 2024c; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2023). Material examined. BRAZIL, Mato Grosso do Sul (new state record): Dourados, 22°13’30.9”S 55°00’32.2”W, 401 m, Malaise 8, 1 male, 1 female (MNRJ-ENT-47296 and 47297), 11.IX–25.IX.2012, T.S. Teles leg.
