What does Trustworthy Digital Repository (TDR) certification mean for digital repositories? What are the benefits and challenges of obtaining CoreTrustSeal (CTS) certification for digital repositories? Examining the complex world of TDR certification, Rebecca Frank presented the results of her recent and in-progress research into repository staff attitudes about CTS certification. She discussed internal and external benefits for CTS-certified repositories and drawbacks to certification. This session was informative for digital repository professionals seeking a comprehensive understanding of the implications of TDR certification and/or recertification, as well as members of the CTS community who wanted to know more about the ways that staff members of CTS-certified repositories value certification.
