Abstract

La globalización que se ha producido en los últimos 25 años ha provocado un aumento significativo en la importación de componentes de proveedores internacionales dada la mercancía utilizada en diversas partes del mundo en busca de reducción de costos y economías de escala, con la centralización de la fabricación de productos en diversas partes del mundo, lo que ha llevado a un aumento considerable en el uso del transporte internacional desde estos lugares al resto de las empresas. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar el uso de la herramienta del centro de gravedad para tomar una decisión sobre qué modo de transporte se utilizará en la entrega de productos, y el resultado encontrado se basa en la toma de decisiones de la ubicación de un centro de consolidación, con un punto de recolección de mercancías en un determinado punto del país, es posible lograr una reducción en los valores de los fletes, y optimizar el tiempo de entrega para el abastecimiento de la empresa. La metodología de trabajo utilizada fue la investigación cualitativa con investigación por el relevamiento bibliográfico referencial.

A globalização ocorrida nos últimos 25 anos levou um incremento significativo da importação de componentes de fornecedores internacionais dado as mercadorias utilizadas em diversos locais do mundo em busca de redução de custos e economias de escala, com a centralização de fabricação de produtos em diversos pontos do mundo o que levou a um aumento considerável na utilização do transporte Internacional desses locais para o restante das empresas. O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar a utilização da ferramenta centro de gravidade para tomar decisão de qual modal de transporte será utilizado na entrega de produtos, e o resultado encontrado baseia-se na tomada de decisão da colocação de um centro de consolidação, com ponto de recolhimento de mercadorias em determinado ponto do país, é possível conseguir uma redução nos valores de frete, e otimizar o tempo de entrega para abastecimento da empresa. A utilização da metodologia de trabalho utilizada foi pesquisa qualitativa com pesquisa pelo com levantamento referencial bibliográfico.

Globalization over the last 25 years has led to a significant increase in the import of components from international suppliers given the goods used in different locations around the world in search of cost reduction and economies of scale, with the centralization of product manufacturing in different parts of the world which led to a considerable increase in the use of international transport from these locations to the rest of the companies. The objective of this work is to present the use of the center of gravity tool to make a decision on which mode of transport will be used in the delivery of products, and the result found is based on the decision making of placing a consolidation center, with a point of collection of goods at a certain point in the country, it is possible to achieve a reduction in freight costs, and optimize delivery time to supply the company. The use of the work methodology used was qualitative research with bibliographical research.
