Workshop Animasi 3D dan Augmented Reality (AR)

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) adalah teknologi yang menggabungkan benda maya dua atau tiga dimensi ke dalam lingkungan nyata, menciptakan pengalaman visual yang imersif dan interaktif. Komunitas Assemblr Edu USTI di Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Indonesia (USTI) aktif dalam mengembangkan dan memanfaatkan teknologi AR dalam lingkungan akademik, menunjukkan minat dan komitmen yang kuat dalam mengadopsi teknologi baru untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran. Workshop yang diselenggarakan bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan, mendalami, dan mengaplikasikan teknologi AR dalam berbagai bidang, terutama dalam pendidikan. Dengan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang AR, baik dari dosen maupun mahasiswa, diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa, serta memperkaya pengalaman pembelajaran dengan pendekatan yang lebih interaktif dan visual. Metode pengembangan AR yang terbagi menjadi Marker Based Tracking dan Markerless Augmented Reality menunjukkan kemajuan teknologi yang memungkinkan pengembangan aplikasi AR yang lebih fleksibel dan mudah diakses. Workshop ini juga menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara akademisi dan praktisi dalam mengembangkan dan menerapkan teknologi AR secara efektif.
