TOMO IV: EDUCACIÓN MÉDICA Y DERECHOS HUMANOS: Goce de los derechos humanos de internos, pasantes y residentes en las unidades médicas (Informe 2022-2023)

Abstract

El Tomo IV de la colección Educación Médica y Derechos Humanos presenta la evaluación que realizó el Observatorio de Educación Médica y Derechos Humanos de los derechos de internos, pasantes y residentes de medicina, durante el periodo 2022-2023. El trabajo es presentado por la Dra. Marcela Gonzales de Cossío, presidente de la Academia Nacional de Educación Médica y Desarrollo Profesional Continuo (ACANEMED); consta de seis capítulos. El capítulo 1 resalta la importancia de la ética docente asistencial y la relación de esta con los derechos humanos, dado que el espacio docente asistencial es el lugar en donde la educación médica se encuentra directamente con los pacientes. Los capítulos 2 (Antecedentes), 3 (Metodología) y 4 (Resultados) tienen la misma estructura que la de los tomos anteriores de la colección, con el fin de dar homogeneidad y comparabilidad a las mediciones realizadas. Precisamente, el capítulo 5 contrasta los resultados de las cinco generaciones estudiadas (2017-2023) y presenta las tendencias del goce de los derechos de los estudiantes. Para terminar, en el capítulo 6 se presentan la discusión y las conclusiones; se resalta que la problemática expuesta en el Tomo I (2017-2018) no ha cambiado y continúa vigente.
