Nowadays every kind of regimes are based on elections, and due to that are called democracies. Nevertheless, some of them are not democracies in a true sense, but dictatorships that promove elections to legitimate themselves. Added to this, in democratic countries there is some malaise about the politicians and their detachment from realities. So is important to renew the concept of democracy. This paper proposes a new concept of democracy for the 21st century not only based in elections by votes, but in election by lot and other forms of better relation between power and people.
