The D3.1- Knowledge Graph Configuration Manual & Deployment deliverable provides a comprehensive guide for configuring and deploying the EO4EU knowledge graph, emphasizing its importance in earth observations. It highlights the transformative role of knowledge graphs in facilitating data integration, interoperability, and decision-making, making earth observation data accessible to a wider audience. The document covers data modeling, acquisition, and integration, focusing on the unification of diverse data sources and the role of ontologies. It also addresses maintaining data quality and presents practical applications of knowledge graphs in this field. The EO4EU knowledge graph aims to enhance the accessibility, reusability, and usability of earth observation data within the EU. It integrates structured and unstructured data into a cohesive framework and connects data based on semantic metrics. The manual also discusses integration with open access and cloud platforms to empower users to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
