El legado del pensamiento feminista en el Derecho Internacional Público

Abstract

El presente trabajo se inserta en un intercambio multidisciplinar que ha tratado de señalar y subrayar el legado plural de las mujeres en diversos ámbitos de la sociedad y la cultura. Las voces femeninas han sido frecuentemente ahogadas por el desconocimiento y el olvido, hasta el punto de situarnos en esquemas sociales que adjudicamos en exclusiva a las aportaciones masculinas. Un ejemplo de esto es el Derecho Internacional Público, cuyo análisis ha permanecido ajeno durante mucho tiempo a la existencia en su base de una problemática de género. Para superar esta situación, las voces feministas han cuestionado la neutralidad de este sistema jurídico y han abogado por una nueva aproximación a esta disciplina que incluyera las necesidades y los intereses de las mujeres. El legado del pensamiento feminista al Derecho Internacional Público ha supuesto una nueva forma de afrontar las cuestiones tradicionales, que no sólo ha permitido tener en cuenta las cuestiones de género, sino la pluralidad que subyace en la Sociedad Internacional a la que las normas jurídicas se dirigen
