Econometrics is a field of study that uses economics, mathematics and statistics to study economics. Econometrics is born as a scientific field after the great economic crisis of 1929. On this date, recession became depression and the classical economists of the day were inadequate for the solutions. Keynessian economics and econometrics were born on this date. The macro viewpoint has begun to settle instead of the classical viewpoint. Econometrics reveals economic relations mathematically and establishes causality relations between economic variables. Ant it is used in many fields of study such as economy, finance, labor economics and marketing. This book includes some studies on economics and econometrics. In this section these studies are briefly summarized.
