MJFF Target Prioritization Initiative: Latest Updates and Spring 2024 Survey Outcomes

Abstract

This report highlights the results of a Request for Information (RFI) survey that was released in the Spring of 2024 and served as the inital step of an exciting pilot initiative known as Targets to Therapies (T2T) launched by the Michael J. Fox Foundation. T2T builds on the key features of existing programs to proactively prioritize and speed translation of promising biology into and across the therapeutic pipeline. The findings in this report detail the 10 most nominated targets from the RFI and overview the framework for the selection of targets that will be entered in the pipeline for target validation. Statements and categorizations made throughout may be subjective and based on MJFF expertise and opinion. All information included in this report is publicly available and is intended to be used as a resource for researchers and investors evaluating opportunities and/or seeking new projects.
