Abstract

La escasez en investigaciones de desarrollo nacional propio en México ha sido y podría seguir siendo una complicación para la salud pública; las vidas cobradas de la pandemia de COVID-19, así como la pandemia de Influenza A H1N1 del 2009 son muestra de ello. En este trabajo se ha planteado un nuevo paradigma en el diseño de fármacos útiles contra la generación de variantes resistentes a los antivirales contra el virus de la Influenza A, para ello se ha planteado generar un modelo bioinformático a partir del cual se puedan diseñar nuevos antivirales. En particular, se presenta la comparación de acoplamientos moleculares de dos proteínas creadas con herramientas bioinformáticas a partir de secuencias de hemaglutinina, contra acoplamientos hechos con proteínas de hemaglutinina cristalizadas y descargadas del PDB. Los resultados muestran que los modelos construidos tienen potencial para el desarrollo en investigación de nuevas moléculas antivirales. Las limitantes son discutidas en el artículo y se proponen nuevas líneas de investigación.
