Experiencias en investigación-acción y agroecología del nodo Jalisco-Nayarit de PIES AGILES

Abstract

Ante los problemas del sistema agroalimentario industrial predominante, notable por sus múltiples impactos ambientales, surgen alternativas viables para su transformación desde un enfoque socio-ecológico, regenerativo y social, como la agroecología en México. En este artículo se recupera la experiencia de un conjunto de procesos locales de investigación-acción y agroecología en el occidente de México, en el marco del programa institucional educativo PIES AGILES. Durante el programa se conformaron comunidades de aprendizaje que propiciaron el aprendizaje colectivo, plural y situado en los territorios, y que favorecieron los liderazgos femeninos en los planes de acción comunitarios. Fueron 12 los temas transversales de investigación-acción priorizados: sustitución de plaguicidas químicos, fertilidad de suelos, agrobiodiversidad, tejido social, huertos comunitarios y escalamiento agroecológico, entre otros. A su vez, se fomentó la colaboración entre estudiantes /especialistas y la articulación institucional, generando importantes vínculos de apoyo y redes de colaboración, que promovieron las transiciones agroecológicas en los territorios.
