Hera is a minimal, generic data model, deliberately simple and tightly focused. However, it is not intended to replace the databases it describes. Its aim is to enable data to be reused at a lower cost. Its model is able to translate data from any external database, regardless of format or theme, without requiring full schema conversion. This is the translation of the Hera principles into an XML validation schema (ie. an XSD file).
