Paul Kammerer

Abstract

Paul Kammerer (1880-1926) nasceu no dia 17 de agosto de 1880 em Viena (FIGURA 1), sob uma estrela dasorte1, sendo um dos quatro filhos do industrial vienense, Carl Kammerer, com sua esposa judia Sofie. Sua infância foimarcada por seu enorme interesse pelos animais, transformando a casa da família em um terrário. Além disso,demonstrou um enorme talento para as artes e música, fato que justifica suas várias denominações relacionadas aoconceito de artista. Estudou simultaneamente zoologia e musicologia na Universidade de Viena (VARGAS et al., 2016).
