Consorcios nativos de hongos micorrícicos arbusculares y biochar en la promoción del crecimiento de plantas de girasol

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar el efecto de dos consorcios micorrícicos arbusculares nativos de la rizosfera de agave de suelos agrícolas de Michoacán y un biochar producido a partir de bagazo de agave mezcalero, en el crecimiento de plantas de girasol bajo condiciones de invernadero. Durante el desarrollo del experimento se registraron distintas variables de crecimiento y a los 60 días después del trasplante se determinó el crecimiento de las plantas y el número de esporas y colonización micorrícica. Los resultados mostraron un incremento en los valores de crecimiento en plantas micorrizadas. La inoculación de consorcios micorrícicos en combinación con el biochar registró mayor número de esporas con respecto a los tratamientos sin biochar. En contraste, los tratamientos sin la adición de biochar registraron un porcentaje superior de colonización micorrícica. Estos resultados sugieren un efecto de inhibición de la colonización micorrícica por parte del biochar y reducción de sus efectos sobre las plantas.
