Abstract

ROS-RVFT: Runtime Verification and Field Testing Guidelines for ROS-base Robotic Systems Description: This release offers a comprehensive set of guidelines to empower developers and QA teams in verifying and testing ROS-based systems. It includes a guidelines catalog, a replication package, an evaluation with experts, and guidance to the community. Key Features: Guideline catalog: A catalog of 20 guidelines on runtime verification and field-based testing. Replication Package: Instructions on how to replicate the study. Evaluation: Results of evaluating the guidelines with robotics experts. Contribute guidance: Instructions on contributing to the guidelines. Future Roadmap: Expect future releases to expand upon these guidelines, incorporating community feedback and emerging technologies. Contributions and Feedback: We welcome contributions and feedback from the ROS community to enrich and improve these guidelines.
