Epistemología y competencias gerenciales en el siglo XXI. Revisión de la literatura

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue identificar los aspectos epistemológicos en su relación con las competencias gerenciales para el siglo XXI; para ello se efectuó una revisión de la literatura científica de estudios primarios realizados por diversos autores. Para la búsqueda de la literatura, se utilizaron las bases de datos Redalyc.org, Scielo.org, Google Académico, Google Scholar, y Elsevier. Los descriptores de búsqueda fueron palabras o frases en los idiomas inglés y español que estudiaran la epistemología en las competencias gerenciales en el contexto actual de la globalidad. Los estudios de esta revisión reportaron aspectos descriptivos, analíticos y reflexivos referidos a la construcción epistemológica de las competencias gerenciales, existiendo consenso entre los autores en cuanto a las características de las mismas en el campo de la ciencia gerencial y la necesidad de su reconceptualización adaptada a los contextos cambiantes y globales del siglo XXI. Se concluye que la evidencia científica disponible en la literatura revisada sugiere que una epistemología de las competencias gerenciales que impacten en la práctica gerencial del siglo XXI debe centrarse en un hacer colectivo de conocimientos generados y compartidos adaptados a la globalidad y a la contextualidad.
