Propuesta de intervención psicosocial para la prevención y tratamiento de la adicción a las drogas en adolescentes

Abstract

Este artículo pretende proponer la intervención psicosocial para la prevención y tratamiento de la adicción en adolescentes en Jipijapa, Ecuador. Se realizó un estudio exploratorio con entrevistas semiestructuradas a 75 adolescentes con adicción a las drogas, así como observación participante en la comunidad. Se concluye que la intervención psicosocial, orientada por los principios definidos por Cingolani & Castañeiras (2011) es una opción con la que se podría atender la prevención y tratamiento de la adicción en adolescentes de Jipijapa - Ecuador.
