HeFDI Data Week - Jupyter: Introduction and Installation

Abstract

Interactive computing, data processing and programming for beginners and experts: Jupyter is a versatile tool and offers an introduction to the world of programming. The first Jupyter notebook will give an overview about Jupyter. It shall provide insight on what Jupyter is and how you can start using it yourself. The second Jupyter notebook will guide you through your first steps with Jupyter and Python; their functions will be introduced in a practice-oriented manner. Important notice: The additional text and image files must be downloaded and located in the same folder as the Jupyter notebooks (.ipynb files) to be loaded and read/displayed.Last but not least: If you are interested in a previous presentation about Jupyter, you can find it under https://youtu.be/552xN7hA8Lw. Feel free to also check out our other event recordings there!

Die HeFDI Data Week 2024 ist ein Angebot der Landesinitiative HeFDI - Hessische Forschungsdateninfrastrukturen, welche vom Hessischen Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Forschung, Kunst und Kultur (HMWK) finanziert wird.
