Distorsiones cognitivas y autoeficacia en atletas de alto rendimiento

Abstract

Resumen La investigación buscó establecer la relación entre distorsiones cognitivas y autoeficacia en atletas de alto rendimiento a partir de Beck (1967) y Ruiz y Luján (1991) para las distorsiones cognitivas, y Bandura (1987, 2006) para la autoeficacia percibida. Fue un estudio descriptivo de campo, con diseño no experimental transeccional correlacional. Se abordó una muestra accidental de 100 atletas que asistían regularmente a los centros deportivos del estado Zulia. Se utilizó el Inventario de Pensamientos Automáticos de Ruiz y Lujan (1991) y la Escala de Autoeficacia hacia la práctica de actividad física de Bandura (2006), ambos con propiedades psicométricas consistentes. Los resultados señalaron una presencia alta de la distorsión de Recompensa Divina, seguida de Los Debería, las demás distorsiones mostraron muy baja presencia. Igualmente, se observó un nivel elevado de autoeficacia. Se obtuvo una relación baja e inversa, significativa, entre la Interpretación del Pensamiento y Razonamiento Emocional con la autoeficacia.
