Wege hin zu einem zirkulären Verwertungssystem für Alttextilien

Abstract

Im vorliegenden Whitepaper werden für die zirkuläre Alttextilverwertung Potentiale und Handlungsfelder aufgezeigt sowie Empfehlungen formuliert. Mit einem Fokus auf die lokale Verwertung sowie Nutzung entlang einer Abfallhierarchie zielen die Empfehlungen darauf ab, Alttextilien in der höchstmöglichen Verwertungsstufe mit dem geringstmöglichen Werteverlust weiter zu verwenden. Schlüssel dafür sind unter anderen die vernetze Zusammenarbeit der Akteur:innen, lokale Reuse-Modelle, neue Materialströme und Strukturen, die auch eine transparente Datenerhebung ermöglichen, sowie die Klärung der Finanzierbarkeit.
