Abstract

Rewilding: Ein Naturschutzansatz für Kulturlandschaften? Rewilding bedeutet, ökologisch diverse und robuste Landschaften zu schaffen, in denen der Natur Raum gegeben wird. Das Spektrum von Rewilding kann dabei von Verwilderung bis Wildnis reichen. Innerhalb von großen Schutzgebieten kann dies über Managementpläne festgelegt werden. Wie aber kann Rewilding in bewohnten Kulturlandschaften umgesetzt werden? Gemeinsam mit den Menschen vor Ort. Über verschiedene Landschaftsszenarien - basierend auf intensivem Austausch in der Region - kann sich nun konkret mit zwei grundlegenden Fragen auseinandergesetzt werden:• In was für Landschaften wollen wir zukünftig leben?• Und wie können die verschiedenen Interessen, Ziele und Anforderungen an Landschaft zusammen gedacht werden? Diese Landschaftsszenarien haben wir beispielhaft für und in Rothenklempenow entwickelt.

Die Zukunftsszenarien für Rothenklempenow entstanden im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts REWILD_DE. Untersucht wird darin, wie der Naturschutz-Ansatz „Rewilding" aus naturwissenschaftlicher und sozio-ökonomischer Sicht für eine deutsche Kulturlandschaft interpretiert werden kann und welche praktischen Umsetzungen möglich sind.
