The present deliverable aims at reporting the outcome of the MHMD kick-off meeting, held on November 7th-8th 2016 in Rome, at the premises of the Project Coordinator (P1 - Lynkeus). The meeting was focused on recalling the overall project goals and workplan as stated in the DoA, plus setting opening steps and assigning priorities to be addressed within the first months of activity. Particularly, after a preliminary general overview, the first day and a half has been dedicated to illustrating objectives and key challenges of each work package to the whole audience, through dedicated presentations by each WP leader, thus explaining the proposed methodology and timeframe to fulfil the WP goals. By contrast, the remaining part of the second day has been run as open discussions on three multidisciplinary topics, subdivided into a corresponding number of working groups composed by representatives of each of the partners involved, and dedicated to deal with open issues, define priorities and the action plan to be followed within the coming months. The following sections recapitulate meeting contents, including agenda, WP overview, working group minutes summarizing discussion topics and action items, conclusive remarks and upcoming steps, and the complete list of attending consortium members.
This corresponds to the Deliverable 11.1 (D11.1) of the MHMD project.
