Foersterella fuscicornis Hansson (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea, Tetracampidae), a new chalcid wasp in the fauna of Poland. To date, the chalcidoid family Tetracampidae was represented in Poland by six recorded species. A recent revision of the European species of Foersterella Dalla Torre resulted in describing two new species based on specimens from Scandinavia, which suggested that also the fauna of Poland may include more taxa than previously known. Indeed, recent collecting efforts in and around the southwestern Silesian city of Wrocław yielded new specimens, among which a male of Foersterella fuscicornis Hansson was identified. This is the first record of this recently described species outside Sweden and France, and a new chalcidoid wasp known to occur in Poland.
