This is an open access photographic dataset collected for testing image processing algorithms. The idea is to have sets of identical photos with varying image noise. The images show playing cards. The dataset consists of seven high-resolution black and white images of playing cards in TIFF file format (*.tif files) with varying noise . Also included are nine MATLAB files to process the data (*.m files). Documentation of the dataset is available at arxiv.org/abs/1701.07354. See also www.fips.fi/photographic_dataset.php. Example usage in MATLAB: im = imread('im_clean.tif'); im = double(im); % Converting to floating point data The data is collected at the Industrial Mathematics Laboratory of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of University of Helsinki.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
