Amplaria staceyi Shear, 2021 Amplaria staceyi Shear, 2021, Zootaxa 4908: 215. Male holotype and male and female paratypes from Weir Trail, Palomar Mountain State Park, San Diego Co., California (CAS). Known from a few localities on Palomar Mountain, San Diego Co., California. This species marks the southernmost known occurrence of a species of Amplaria and of the family Striariidae.
