Avaliação da inibição colinesterásica por deltametrina em diferentes tecidos de Ancistrus Multispinnis

Abstract

Este estudo investigou os efeitos da exposição subletal à deltametrina na atividade da enzima colinesterase (ChE) em Ancistrus multispinnis, uma espécie de peixe de água doce. A deltametrina, um inseticida piretróide de tipo II, é amplamente utilizada na agricultura e apresenta alta toxicidade para organismos aquáticos. Peixes foram expostos a doses subletais de 3 e 4 mg/kg de deltametrina por 96 horas. A atividade colinesterásica foi medida em diferentes tecidos, incluindo músculo, cérebro e brânquias, utilizando o método colorimétrico de Ellman. Os resultados mostraram que a deltametrina não causou uma inibição significativa na atividade colinesterásica em nenhum dos tecidos analisados. Isso sugere que, nas condições experimentais utilizadas, a deltametrina não atua como um inibidor potente de ChE em Ancistrus multispinnis, destacando uma diferença importante em relação a outros pesticidas neurotóxicos. Esses achados são importantes para a compreensão dos mecanismos de toxicidade da deltametrina e indicam que outros biomarcadores devem ser investigados para avaliar plenamente os efeitos subletais deste pesticida.
