Relationship among Happiness and Self-awareness with Work Performance or Job Accomplishment with reference to Pluralism to Reach Planetary Sustainability in Indian Context

Abstract

Abstract: This study intends to add to the scientific understanding of the link between self-awareness, happiness, and work performance. Whether it is education of students, job of employee or any business, self-awareness is important, but whether it is related to performance of work or not, is an issue of research. Primary data based on Likert scale are used for questionnaire development. Analysis is done with the software Jamovi. Work performance is taken as dependent variable (DV) and an independent variables (IVs) are happiness and self-awareness. The findings reveal a strong link between self-awareness, happiness, and work performance. Work performance is affected by every unit change in self-awareness, according to the coefficient of self-awareness. As a result, it is reasonable to conclude that happiness and self-awareness have a favorable and considerable impact on work performance. The study also shows that happiness reflects people's emotional experiences and consequently, it provides vital data for a moral pluralist and to reach planetary sustainability. Future scope of research is to be done in other areas like medical, students, and other professionals. Keywords: Happiness, Self-Awareness, Work Performance, Pluralism, Planetary Sustainability
