This is a funding proposal to the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), the German Research Foundation. The proposal is to organize a seminar (in the DFG-specific format of a Rundgespräch) to assess the research landscape in Germany and the German-speaking world for compatibility with Open Science, and to produce recommendations to the DFG and other decision makers as to how this compatibility can be increased. Authorship is in alphabetic order. The drafting was open to anonymous contributions, which were not tracked.
The document is in German and provided here in both Open Document Format (downloaded from Google Docs, where the drafting took place) and in a Portable Document Format version created from that. The version submitted to the DFG (on September 7, 2014) is identical, except that it was signed by Daniel Mietchen, who acted as the submitter.
