Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación fue describir avances en los resultados de aprendizaje de la alfabetización inicial en Lengua Española y Matemática, tras la implementación de la Colección Primer Grado durante el año escolar 2021-2022 en 21 centros educativos de Fe y Alegría, como parte del Proyecto de Atención y Calidad a la Primera Infancia (AICPI), con énfasis en las debilidades identificadas según los resultados de la Evaluación Diagnóstica Nacional 2017, a partir de las necesidades de readaptación de estrategias pedagógicas pospandemia COVID-19. El fundamento teórico comprende el enfoque por competencias y constructivista del currículo dominicano y las categorizaciones y conceptualizaciones de alfabetización inicial según Ferreiro (2006) entre otros. La metodología parte del modelo de investigación-acción participativa. El resultado evidencia que la Colección Primer Grado favorece los procesos de alfabetización inicial y contribuye al desarrollo de las competencias del Diseño curricular dominicano fomentando una educación pública de calidad.
