A peer-reviewed antibody characterization article corresponding to this Zenodo preprint is openly available at F1000Research: https://doi.org/10.12688/f1000research.155928.1 This report serves as a guide to select high-performing antibodies agaisnt Casein kinase 1 isoform alpha (CSNK1A1). Ten antibodies were evaluated in western blot, immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence experiments using a standardized protocol. CSNK1A1 is an essential gene, thus the siRNA knockdown method was employed using HCT 116 cells, which express sufficient levels of CSNK1A1 protein. Thank you to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research for nomitating this target and supporting this study.
